The Hornby R.6031 was a limited run, 7-plank wagon, exclusive model to Janes Trains.

We decided for a first model, we would like a wagon from a company local to us in Tooting. Unfortunately, we could not find any at that time, so we opted for the livery of a nearby company, called 'C.Murrell & Sons', who were Coal Merchants, based in nearby Wimbledon.

Only 500 examples of this model were made for us by Hornby Hobbies. Each one came with its own unique numbered certificate and they were only available from Janes Trains.

We are looking to have more exclusive and special edition wagons based on merchants local to us in the SW London / Croydon area.

We would welcome any ideas or information on companies that may have had private liveried wagons in this area.
